According to Britain’s Sunday Mirror tabloid, Queen guitarist, Brian May needed 24–hour protection for a short time in 2007 when a schizophrenic fan, under the impression that he was himself the real Brian May and blaming the imposter for his condition, announced that he was setting out to murder him. Apparently he did not succeed — unless recent live appearances by May were in fact his doo–lally lookee–likee, in which case no one has noticed the difference. So that’s all right then.
